Ep.56 Pamela Paulenko is a conservation artist from Toronto, Canada. She uses watercolor and acrylics to paint mostly marine ecosystems, which are the main focus of her conservation interests. Combining her major interests with her art, Pam uses imagery to promote a feeling of hope in relation to conservation.
Pam has been at her art business for three and a half years, and even though that feels like a long time, she continues to persevere, going through the stages and believing strongly in her art and her mission of conservation. She is currently looking for places to put herself in front of her ideal art buyer.
Pam will have more time on her hands in the coming months, and she’s working on a plan to maximize what she accomplishes. Because she won’t be spending as much of her time on habitat restoration, Pam plans to use that time creating, applying for group shows and for grants. The challenge? It all makes her nervous just thinking about it.
